FAQ

Q: Are strollers and baby joggers welcome to participate?
A: Absolutely. We welcome everyone to participate but we do ask that all strollers and baby joggers start at the back of the starting corral for safety purposes.

Q: Are pets allowed on the course?
A: We love pets, but unfortunately no. Having animals on the course is too much of a safety factor for the animal and other participants.

Q: Is the event timed and scored?
A: It is chip timed with disposable chip technology. HOWEVER in the interest of keeping this more of a fun run atmosphere, we only score the top 10 men and women. Everyone else will see their times in overall results only.

Q: Am I guaranteed my specific shirt size?
A: Everyone will get a shirt, but your size preference is only guaranteed if you register during the early registration period.

Q: Do you offer early packet pick up?
A: Yes we will offer early packet pick up. Check your event details page and the Chocolate Sundae Run Facebook page to get up to date information on location, date and times for early packet pick up.

Q: If I cannot pick up my packet early, may I have a friend or family member do so?
A: Yes.

Q: Will there be day of race sign up?
A: Depends on if the event is sold out prior to race day. Check your event’s details page and the Chocolate Sundae Run Facebook page to get up to date information.

Q: What if I have family members that do not run the race but would like a chocolate sundae, how would they get one?
A: All of our events offer additional sundae tickets that may be acquired the day of the event for a $5 donation that will go to our event beneficiary.

Q: Does the event benefit any charity or non-profit?
A: Yes. Our national charity partner is Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Q: What is your event refund policy?
A: As with most events, all registration fees are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled for any unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to refund at least 50 percent of your registration fees, but we cannot guarantee a specific amount. Events would ONLY be cancelled for reasons that are beyond our control.

Q: Will there be a course map posted early?
A: We will do our best to provide an updated course map close to the event date. However, many times courses may get modified prior to the event, thus the reason we will not post a course map until we are comfortable with the final approved course.

Q: Will the Chocolate Sundae Run be coming to any additional communities in the future?
A: Thats up to you! If you would like us to come to your community, we need to hear from you and others in your community. We will always be looking for new cities! Be sure to LIKE our Chocolate Sundae Run Facebook page to keep up with event updates.
